Stearns Weaver Miller’s Retail industry group assist clients with a wide array of issues facing retailers, including labor and employment issues, landlord/tenant disputes and real estate development issues. Among others, we represent nationally recognized "big box" stores, supermarkets, and a large, national toy store chain.

Our clients turn to us for assistance with labor and employment issues including workplace harassment, EEO compliance, FMLA, ADA, military leave, workplace violence, litigation prevention, background checks, and layoffs. We also assist these clients with the design and implementation of personnel policies and procedures and personnel training.

In many cases, our Real Estate Department assists clients with landlord and tenant issues including contracts, disputes and litigation. We also represent developer clients in numerous mixed use projects.
